The best service is never one-size-fits-all. It responds to what is happening in real time. Needs change depending on the room, the season, and the person in front of you. The ability to sense that and adjust is something I have practiced most of my life.

For more than twenty years, I worked on private yachts and planes. In that environment, you notice everything. A shift in tone. A tight jaw. A guest who says they are fine but clearly are not. You adapt quickly. Timing matters. Energy matters. Details matter.

That skill shaped how I show up in every part of my life, including relationships.

At work, I am particular. Very. Think Monica from Friends, but with a flight schedule.

In my personal life, I am about seventy percent that person. The other thirty percent paddle boards on the lake, skis in winter, or walks in the woods - and yes, there is still a junk drawer.

For years, constant movement made it easy to avoid real commitment. When you are always preparing for the departure, it is simple to convince yourself you just have not met the right person yet.

If closeness started to feel uncertain, I redirected my energy into service. Into being useful. Staying busy meant I did not have to sit with the fear that eventually I would not be chosen. I either pushed away the men who showed up fully or invested in the ones who could not.

A health scare interrupted the pace. Slowing down forced me to look at the patterns instead of outrunning them. What became clear was that the way I reacted in relationships followed something consistent - the way I process emotion, anticipate rejection, and brace before anything has actually happened.

Understanding that did not change my personality. It changed how I relate.

The women who see themselves in this are often in service and caregiving roles.

They can anticipate what others need before it’s spoken, yet have slowly stopped checking in with themselves - or no longer have the energy to.

My personality is naturally upbeat and direct. In session, that energy becomes focused and grounded. The same attentiveness I once used to anticipate service needs now goes toward noticing emotional patterns - what is spoken, what is avoided, and what keeps repeating.

I am based in Whitefish, Montana, and work with clients both in person and online.

When you understand how you are built emotionally, you begin to recognize when a reaction is familiar, and where it actually started. That awareness changes how you show up in relationships.
